AgSmart, proudly produced by Olds College, is a must-see educational expo focused on data and technology across the agriculture industry. Taking place July 30 & 31, 2024 at Olds College, where producers and industry gather to learn by seeing the latest innovations being demonstrated, hearing from industry experts and engaging with leading innovation focused exhibits.

Guest Speakers include Dr. Syama Chatterton – Researcher and plant pathologist for pulse & special crops and Jennifer Otani – Pest Management Scientist with AAFC Beaverlodge

This agriculture-specific suicide awareness and prevention workshop is a 2 hour webinar that will provide participants with a general understanding of suicide risk in the community and workplace. This workshop provides four (4) steps for on-the-farm/on-the-job suicide prevention. The trainer will provide information, tools, resources, and sample scenarios relevant to the agriculture industry. After this workshop, participants will have the basic tools to know how to prepare, respond, inform, and debrief when interacting with a person with thoughts of suicide in the community or their workplace.
