The Challenge
There is currently a knowledge gap in the design of conservation biological control strategies to enhance integrated pest management.
The Project
Identify key natural enemies of canola insect pests by detecting pest insect DNA in the guts of predators to determine the pest suppression ability.
The Results
This section will be updated upon completion of the project.
Grower Benefits
Identifying key natural enemies of canola pests will further develop integrated pest management systems, increasing plant health while reducing unnecessary pesticide use and supporting sustainability.
