Feeding canola meal in the diets of early lactating dairy cows

The Challenge

Dairy cows consume 25-30 kg of dry matter per cow per day. There is currently not sufficient information in how canola meal can contribute to increasing the conversion of feed to milk.

The Project

Determine the effects of canola meal on the metabolism and productivity of early lactating dairy cows.
