Beneficial Insects

November 15, 2011

Dr. Lloyd Dosdall from the University of Alberta discusses beneficial insects and in particular the natural enemies.

Natural enemies are what Lloyd calls a farmer’s free helpers

These natural enemies help control the insects that cause economic damage to crops.

Learning to preserve and identify these beneficial insects is a key part of Dr. Dosdall’s work.
