Dr. Lloyd Dosdall is an entomologist at the University of Alberta who is studying beneficial insects.

The good bugs – those that prey on and control the insects that damage are crops – play an important role in Alberta’s cropping systems.

Preserving these natural enemies may help reduce the need for applications of insecticides in the future.
