Agriculture Training Support
The purpose of this program is to provide support to the agricultural and horticultural businesses and services to help address the impact of COVID-19. The program will provide a grant to eligible employers to offset the costs of training and ensuring safety protocols are in place for new employees hired from the available domestic labour pool.

COVID-19 orders and legislation
Public health orders, ministerial orders and legislation enacted during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Effective immediately the agriculture and food sector, as a recognized essential service, can submit PPE orders directly to the Logistics Section of Municipal Affairs’ Alberta Emergency Management Agency’s Provincial Operations Centre (AEMA-POC) for procurement on their behalf.  click here to read the ordering instructions provided by the Government of Alberta.
