Canola Performance Trial Survey Results

March 24, 2016

Canola Performance Trials (CPT) represent the next generation in variety evaluation for Western Canadian canola growers. The three Prairie canola grower groups – Alberta Canola Producers Commission, Saskatchewan Canola Development Commission (SaskCanola) and the Manitoba Canola Growers Association – fund the program. The Canola Council of Canada delivers the program on their behalf. Trials provide relevant and unbiased performance data that reflects actual production practices, and comparative data on leading varieties and newly introduced varieties. Results for 2015 are based on 29 small plot trials and 33 field scale trials across the Prairies.

Close to 400 responses were collected for the recent CPT survey. Review the results in this visually appealing document (including a concise executive summary). Thanks again to all those who took the time to fill it out and provide us with your feedback!
