Alberta Canola Director Nomination Results

Edmonton, AB – November 3, 2025, The call for nominations for growers to serve on the Board of Directors of the Alberta Canola Producers Commission in Regions 1, 4, 7, and 10 closed on October 31, 2025, at 4 PM. This election cycle resulted in four growers being elected by acclamation for all four regions. 

The four canola grower director-elects are Chris Kamphuis from Worsley, Jeannette Andrashewski from Two Hills, Jason Lenz from Bentley, and Cheryl Westman from Vermilion. Kamphuis will represent Region 1, Andrashewski will represent Region 4, Lenz will represent Region 7, and Westman will represent Region 10. 

Immediately following the Annual General Meeting on January 27, 2026, Andrashewski and Westman will begin their second terms as directors, and Kamphuis and Lenz will begin their first terms as directors. 

Alberta Canola directors may serve up to three consecutive terms on Alberta Canola’s Board as long as they remain an eligible producer. They are subject to the same nomination procedure for each term.
