The Alberta Canola Producers Commission, like all farmers and ranchers in Alberta, has received the recommendations of the Bill 6 Technical Working Groups that the Government of Alberta posted online today, October 26, 2017.
Alberta Canola will be reviewing all of these documents and we encourage all producers to do the same.
Alberta Canola will be providing feedback to the Government of Alberta prior to the January 15, 2018 deadline.
Alberta Canola encourages farmers and ranchers to provide feedback to the Government of Alberta. Individuals can provide feedback online at alberta.ca/farm-and-ranch and by emailing [email protected] before Jan. 15, 2018. Government will then begin drafting regulations based on both the recommendations and public feedback.

The technical working groups studying occupational health and safety have submitted their recommendations outlining how provincial legislation could apply to farms and ranches.
You’re encouraged to review the recommendations and provide feedback in writing by Jan. 15, 2018.
